    Hi All
I've been looking at the Mountain State Criminal Justice program, and it does look interesting. I've looked through the boards and have seen some positive comments. Does anyone have experience with the school or have gone their? Is it a good program, and would you recommend it? Thanks in advance for any info.

I've gone to the school in the past and only have good things to say about it. Though the staff can seem slow at times but checking up on things helped. However, the school was great and worked well with my busy schedule...:D

It looks like a solid program, just keep in mind that it's in Criminal Justice Administration, which tends to focus more on the management end, such as budgeting, planning, etc.

Underneath my sig file, I have a link to a list of RA CJ degrees, including two dozen Master's programs.

    Mountain State

I have been going to Mountain State for the last year and a half and I have no complaints. They accepted my police academy training plus all my transfer credit but I still had to take the 16 hours of core ADCJ classes. They have approx. 250 courses that you can take through independant study which is really good if you need to take some general stuff to fill the gaps. They also have a ADCJ grad program which is done all through IS. I applied and was accepted into the grad program but I got into another schools program and opted to go there.

Everyone is really easy to deal with at MSU and if you ever have to call and talk to someone you will never be given the runaround.

I hope this helps you out and good luck with whatever school you choose.

I completed my BS in Aviation Leadership and Management at Mountain State University. A friend of mine is about to complete the CJ program. The place is great.
