Does anybody know if there is any most transferred Online MBA Program? I have a friend who is looking for a fast way to complete his MBA, he has many graduated courses in IT and Business from Columbia University, University of Illinois, University of the Cumberlands. ~Thanks!

I'm curious what other people come up with. I know Amberton allows you to transfer in 12 out of 36 (33%) towards their master's degrees, and they offer several MBAs.

This thread also gives suggestions for APUS, Excelsior, and some others: https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?threads/transfer-maximum-mba-credits.37580/

Edit: Why not WGU? If they have a lot of prior learning, they might be best served by doing the 6-month MBA.

I agree that WGU is the way to go if the person either does not want a concentration or wants a concentration that WGU offers. However, WGU does not transfer credits, so if the person already has credits I would go somewhere else.

I'm at Walden and did transfer credits through UoPeople. Walden allows up to 15 transfer credits for the 30+ credit MBA program. While Walden may not seem like the cheapest options, there are ways to "hack" the costs. First, Walden does occasionally offer free terms... and I suspect the best offer might be coming up again around may or june. Second, is maximizing the transfer credits from a cheaper school, such as from UoPeople where a full 3-cr class is $240. Third, and this is something I think many people are unaware of with Walden, taking a break from Walden classes/tempo can re-qualify you as a new student which means you get the special limited time offers (like another free term) again!

Second, if a person can handle the grading system at UoPeople , they accept 18 transfer credits into their 36-credit MBA program. I took classes with a few doctors from around the world and graduates from Harvard and other ivy league alumni that had gone back to school to earn an MBA. With that said, you also get people on the opposite end of the educational spectrum.

Purdue Global allows 50% transfer on a 60-76 credit MBA on the quarter system.

APUS allows 15 credits towards a 39-credit MBA.

Excelsior allows 15 credits towards a 33-credit MBA and has some interesting concentrations.

    I hope that helps!
