I enjoyed the Sig. Series VERY much - it was also one of my academic highlights. I've heard good things about Prof. Black. To be honest, the BIS coursework was almost a disappointment after that.

Not that it wasn't good, the subjects appropriate for the degree program, or the proper level of difficulty, but it didn't stretch the mind nearly as much or have the same level of interaction as the Sig. Series.

I was curious about your opinion as well; it seems like there are two extremes to the Sig Series - people either love it, or hate it. Personally, I think all programs should have something similar as an "end note" - it makes you really appreciate the value of citizenship and a liberal arts side to an education.

I took the sig during a time when the BIS coursework was light for me. It was during the summer. You know, BIS stuff is the meat and potatoes of my career, but the sig was like desert. I really enjoyed that part of the program more than any of my major studies. It was certainly the most challenging part of the Bellevue experience, and the most enjoyable.
