Is it possible to break into medical schools with a DL degree or Charter Oak, TESC etc ? A med school (cannot remember which one) stated in their web site all courses must be doing on campus and no tests are accepted. It seems DL cannot open its door.

I don't know the answer to this one. However, the biggest challenge I would see is with the required Science courses with labs. IIRC, most, if not all, US medical schools require a year of biology, caculus, physics, chemisty, and organic chemistry, with labs for the orgo chem, chem, and I think bio. How does one get distance credit for the labs? A solution that might have a better chance of working would be to get the bachelors from on of the schools you mentioned and then take the science at a B&M school that has a pre-med/dental/vet science program for those that already have their bachelors. If you know of people that got into a US Med School recently without having done the labs in those pre-med courses, let me know.
