Interesting program from NSU. For those wanting a PsyD but also the PhD behind your name this is it, with an MBA included! Check it out at: http://www.cps.nova.edu/programs/JointPhDMBA.htm
I do not believe you get both the Psy.D. and the Ph.D. -- you choose one or the other doctoral programs plus the MBA studies. John
John, I agree. The page states : "Students will be admitted to both the clinical psychology program and the M.B.A. programs at the same time. The student will fulfill the typical clinical psychology admissions process by completing the application packet obtainable at the Center for Psychological Studies and indicate, at that time, that hey intend to be admitted to the joint psychology and M.B.A. program. Typically students will begin M.B.A classes during the 3rd year of their psychology studies. M.B.A. tuition rates at that time will apply. " I can't seem to locate any additional on the NOVA site, bit I'm sure a quick phone call to NOVA will suffice.
Huh, I guess I overlooked the psyd-phd part. Still, looks like an interesting program and quite unique. I'm not aware of another APA school that is offering the Psy + MBA program -S
Many people in the Washington, D.C. area refer to Northern Virginia Community College as NOVA, although the college itself tries to go by NVCC to avoid confusion. Incidentally, NVCC has a pretty good distance learning program, and the rates for Virginia residents are very reasonable. Not useful for you Master's candidates, but.... -=Steve=-
