From the website of Staffordshire University (http://www.staffs.ac.uk/study_here/courses/mathematics-tcm4213639.jsp) :

"The Faculty of Computing, Engineering & Technology at Staffordshire University offers a variety of Postgraduate Research Awards – PhD and MPhil. PhD and MPhil awards may be studied in full-time or part-time mode in the UK, and we consider applications for part-time studies outside the UK on a case-by-case basis."

The above is referring to Mathematics. I am waiting for more info from the admission office.

itmt, do anyone have any distance learning experience with Staffordshire University to share?

This is a great resource. We know that there are very few Masters degree programs in Mathematics and this might be the first PhD program in Math outside of places like UNISA. It's important to note, however, that the website says that part-time applicants from outside of the UK will be decided on a case-by-case basis. It might be interesting to know the criteria by which these decisions will be made. Thanks for the info datapoly.
