Its been awhile since I have come here but this site has been instrumental in me getting my BBA (2003) and MBA (2012).

Now I am wanting to go into consulting and wanted to know if you guys can give me some ideas of PhD programs in leadership.

I am paying for this myself so I want SUPER cheap if possible.

Thanks in advance for any info or opinions!

"I want to earn a doctorate."

"Oh, cool, what's your criteria for a program?"

    "Cheap."

Just out of curiosity, how much do you consider "cheap" for a doctorate? Or, perhaps more accurately, at what price point do we start approaching "too expensive" for said doctorate?

If you're looking for super cheap, I agree with other posters who have/will refer you to UNISA. If cheap is under $30k and national accreditation will work for you, check out Piedmont International University (PhD in Leadership) and Bakke Graduate University (Doctor of Transformational Leadership). Both are about $27k. If you require regional accreditation, check out Johnson University (PhD in Leadership Studies). It runs about $31,500.
