Well, hopefully, none of the schools you mentioned exist to serve the needs of "One(s) (who) can't do work at the level to earn an accredited degree". Such a school would, by definition, peddle substandard curriculum under standard degree nomenclature and, hence, be deceptive and a mill.

Now Bill you've said numerous times that you're interested in distance learning but not necessarily earning a degree. That's all I'm saying. Personal enrichment does not, by definition, mean that you have to earn a degree. Those who specifically set out to earn a degree, and perhaps takes courses that they're not so very interested in taking during the process, are not doing so solely for the purposes of personal enrichment. They want the degree so that they can say to somebody, at some time, under some circumstances, "Oh yeah, I have a degree in ABC from the University of XYZ." It may not happen in the context of a job interview. It might be more subtle like inviting your friends over to play some billiards and letting them quietly discover your diploma handing on the wall. I think that for a lot of people it's just an ego thing. I don't think that we really disagree on this subject. Maybe it's a bit of a semantics thing. Maybe I'm wrong about that but I don't think so.
