Why USF? You from/live in the Tampa area?

I went to a small, liberal arts school in Temple Terrace. The head of the Business program actually got his PhD from NCU

Depends on what your interests are. If you are already tenure or tenure-track, and if teaching/research is what you love to do... then keep doing it. You can always explore into other areas of research/publishing outside the area of your doctorate... I'm not talking about writing papers on Roman history if your doctorate was is business administration, but a different field within business administration my spice things up.

You could always develop your teaching skills by taking professional development courses or attending teacher training workshops. Most colleges and universities offer these in-house.

....or you can just take up some hobbies, as others have suggested.

    Me too...

I have completed my interviews for my study - plan to have the interviews transcripted by July 18, Data Analysis done by August 1, Dissertation to chair by September 18 - we're getting close!

Help! Advice for becoming an Education Adjunct

Hi. I would like to teach as an online adjunct. I would even do it at a local college face-to-face if given the chance! I have over ten years of teaching in a k-12 setting. My master's degree is in curriculum and instruction. In addition to that I have 30 additional graduate level hours in "education." I need advice on how to start, where to start. I have applied to a lot of places and gotten close a few times but nothing definite yet. Many of my graduate level classes were taken online so I have experienced that side and think it could help me. I have taken online courses at different universities. Please provide information on teaching online or even face-to-face at the college level with my qualifications. Thanks,
    DeterminedAdjuct
