Hello to our brethren in the Liberty Univ. DMIN program or who have passed through the same. I would love to get an insight as to expectations and typical class requirements in the DMIN program for a typical course. How much work or hours are typically needed in a week for the eight weeks course, with my very busy schedules like everyone else? I currently have an admission to the DMIN Evangelism track which I may join in January 2025. Many thanks for your insights.

Is it open to Orthodox and Catholics?

Yes. Liberty Seminary (and University) teaches from an evangelical baptist perspective but it is open to other denominations. That said, I think one might really struggle at the DMin level coming from a orthodox or in particular, a Catholic background. The basic belief system and theology is fundamentally different between evangelical Christianity and Catholicism.

Admission to any Liberty University Rawlings School of Divinity graduate or post-graduate program requires completion of a Divinity Questionnaire about your theological beliefs, and the DMin program specifically also requires an ecclesiastical endorsement from a church or "an organization such as the Salvation Army or a parachurch organization (ex. A Christian college like Liberty University)" representing your ministry setting.

The Divinity Questionnaire is behind a login wall for registered users. A web search will turn up sample questionnaires, but they might vary by program and you may be looking at an older, non-current version. Here's a publicly viewable file showing an admissions questionnaire for the Liberty PhD in Theology and Apologetics. (It's labelled "Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary," which I believe is an old name.)
