I get what you mean about the labels, it does get tiresome. Good thing Liberals never lable people on the right, eh?

Its not so much about a lable.....if people want to make it out to be, so be it. Nothing wrong with joining people who share the same ideas. Thats why there are car clubs, hunting clubs and the such.

 

I think most Americans would be more willing to throw out the welcome mat to immigrants if they came here LEGALLY. I really don't understand how you think we can make them feel anymore welcome??? The ones who come here legally are made to feel welcome..its the ones who don't they are not welcome and rightly so. I am not throwing out welcome gestures to someone who can't be bothered to learn the language and pay taxes. Before they even step foot into this country they should have already wanted to adopt our culture and ways of freedom. It is hard for many to have understanding and open arms for people who come into our country wanting a handout and the same treatment as legal citizens. I am all for immigrants as long as they come here legally.

We do need a different healthcare system but the proposed one is not it. I do believe that all people who are citizens of this country should have access to at least basic healthcare but the current offering leaves a lot to be desired.

I think we can all agree that stating your on the left generally implies that your democrat...... so if your not a democrat I would be careful saying your on the left (nothing wrong with being democrat IMO!).

Like I said before right or left is not a political organization....it's a belief. I can use my judgement to see who the better person is. It might be a DEM or it might be a REPUB. Go look it up and see what it is. Why do you find the need to pin me down to a political party?

 

I didn't pin you down you did Liberalism/left wing is associated with being a democrat surely you know this right????? Your right saying your on the left or the right is not a political organization but I bet you money if you went out on the street and did a poll asking people if people say they are on the left or right which political organization are they most likely affiliated with? You would get democrat for left, republican for right

Personally I am glad you feel you can use your judgement to vote for the best person instead of just saying oh I am voting democrat/republican because that is what I am. That is stupidity, so glad you can do that. Oh and I did look it up which is why I linked you....right there in my post where it says Left in blue.............
