Pine Manor College (est. 1911) has been winding down and is selling its campus location in Chestnut Hill, MA to Boston College.

Now Lasell University nearby in Newton (est. 1851, changed its name from Lasell College in 2019) is acquiring PMC's Solstice Low-Residency MFA in Creative Writing program (est. 2006) to continue as a Lasell degree.

The Solstice MFA includes five residencies of 10 days each and offers five concentrations: fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, comics & graphic narratives, and writing for children and young adults. It's friendly to popular and genre fiction. An optional Pedagogy track includes focused courses and an internship teaching creative writing in the student's own community.
