To be fair (heaven forbid I should get such a reputation but I'll forge ahead anyway) nothing that Mr. Gering says here is untrue. On the other hand, I don't buy his argument that KWU won't part with $250 because of altruistic reasons. It is obvious that KWU can't consider subjecting itself to approval from the ODA simply because KWU is a diploma mill that would obviously and utterly fail the ODA test.

Back on the "fair side" again ;), KWU may have really lobbied for stronger laws against academic fraud within Wyoming. KWU has a rather unique model amongst the diploma mill crowd though. We mustn't forget that KWU has fled many jurisdictions after stronger laws were passed against academic fraud. It is in their best interest to "assist" the Wyoming legislature to draw the line against academic fraud somewhere between themselves and the rest of the bunch. Afterall, the other states have tightened up their own laws against academic fraud and KWU is running out of places to flee to.

On the unfair side, the statistics presented regarding PhD professor levels at KWU is a total joke. What can that possibly mean when the professors have almost no contact with the students!!!
