An article used the word coup, I did copy and paste.
New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd deemed President Biden's ouster a "coup" orchestrated behind the scenes by powerful Democrats on Sunday.

Here is another article, with video clips, that is't using the word

    I agree with Klain.

So what? I agree with everything Klain said. So what? I think Biden would be a great President for the next four and half years if he won the election. The problem was that he was probably going to lose the election. Biden showed his greatness by stepping down. It is a lie to say he was somehow pushed out. He could have stayed in if that was what he wanted. IT WAS BIDEN'S DECISION!!! He decided to step down because he loves this country. You are just being "sneaky" in my opinion. I doubt you're telling the truth when you say you agree with Klain. Klain believes that Biden was a great President and would be a future great President. Klain recognizes that it was Biden's decision, I don't believe you agree with those things.

That's very loyal of you, but he's stepping down because of the very obvious decline he's already demonstrating.

Let's look at another example. After Reagan's last term ended it came out that near the end he was suffering from significant dementia. Yet, his administration continued and he's considered by many as one of our greatest Presidents. How could that be? For a few reasons, the President's advisors do much of the work. Another reason is that debating and public speaking are not really important to the functioning of the day to day President's job. All woven through this is the personal relationships and working relationships that have been established in both Presidents' first term.

It's unclear to me how much his diminished capacity played into his decision versus how much of it was a fear of a second Trump Presidency. What is clear is that it was primarily a combination of those two factors.

President Biden stepped down because he was pushed out.
Only in June he was the nominee, and the diminished capacity was a less issue, Harris went on defensive, and claimed he is sharp and doing well, but his downfall was the debate.
This is when the situation was no longer manageable.
Biden's are furious, behind the scenes. Yet, publically, he did the right thing. Dems handled it nicely at DNC.
