Just a tad pissed off

For some reason, this thread showed up yesterday when I clicked "View new posts." I didn't look at the posting dates on the messages, so I didn't realize that this horse had been dead for a long time.

I, too, realize this is a distant thread, however, here's just one more perspective from a newbie.

I, too, had already done a lot of research (for about two years) concerning a direction for getting my PhD. I, too, am among the working adults who cannot stop the world (i.e., the bills, the family, etc.) to attend a traditional school. By the time I found this site, all I had were a couple of questions which were graciously answered by several of you. It was information difficult to find elsewhere.

Perhaps "oldies" could simply pass over posts by "newbies" and save themselves some angst?

 

But many of the newbies make great contributions to this forum.
