Got this advertisement in my email. Never heard of this school before, but it appears interesting.[IMG]

    ₹5.5 Lakhs (1st Year Fees) = 7,500$ USD?

$2100 is the outside-India price for the complete degree, on Coursera. Indian students get it for a bit less - 165,000 rupees, or $1987 US.

Not in the sense of legitimacy, as O.P. Jindal Global University is good. The only drawback would be unjustified skepticism from provincial people.

A good reason, then, to avoid provincial people. As if we really needed another reason. :) And yes - the University itself checks all the boxes. I looked for that. I have issues with trust. When I can't find a loophole, that increases my suspicion and anxiety. I fail to realize that sometimes - there are no loopholes. This is probably a case of that -- but I'm (as always) hesitant to admit it. :) You do you.

So it seems. And for a decent school, their price for this program on Coursera - $2,100 complete, is almost too good to believe.
By comparison, an MBA from Don Bosco Global, another popular and reputable Indian school, is now priced at 381,000 rupees, which is $6,139 US - almost three times the price of the O.P. Jindal Master's via Coursera.

Interesting program, they market it as 1 year MBA program, but also state it's a 12 to 24 months program.
    Wow, I see it now:

The total cost of the programme is Rs. 1,65,000 for Indian applicants and $2,100 USD for applicants residing outside of India. Students may pay in multiple instalments shared below: -

Like I said, the only drawback would be unjustified skepticism from provincial people. In this case, both meanings of "provincial".

    All good points.
Some work places, such as local government, care about the degree being from recognized/Accredited university and for foreign degrees a NACES member report of equivalency is sufficient.

My wife is looking to complete an inexpensive MPA (Public Admin) degree (She gets $3,800 tuition assistance from the employer for up to 8 K max) accredited.
But I think MPA for work in US has to be from the US university, even if an employer will accept the degree.
For me Business Analytics is major % of solutions we provide to our customers, the tools are integral, so this got my attention, our CTO is from India :) maybe it's good maybe not ?

Just curious about the program, it appears as something I may undertake, even if I plan to retire really soon.

I've heard many stories of some professional associations here (Canada) that have developed xenophobia to an art. Their objective: keep the jobs with the home crowd. Foreigners S.O.L. Hateful business.
