I'm glad to say I've also managed to land a position at ITT. My understanding is that the combination of certification, degree and experience put me in the right place at the right time for the particular location. Won't be starting til December so I'm unsure of the starting course load. Right now I'm just trying to be as flexible as possible. The vibe I'm getting is that the department chair is very supportive so I'm pretty psyched up. I've thanked DegreeInfo before for various things, the advice on the forum that led to a more spread out search for teaching appointments is another.
Right on ITJD!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations. I hear they have a great training program for new instructors. Abner
I did a course development for their undergrad Marketing class. It was very comprehensive, more so than some of the other places I've done.
I teach Saturday CJ classes at a local branch of ITT Tech. I have done well there for the past three years. One thing that makes them a little different is that you are held accountable for poor class attendance, so push the students hard to come to class every session.
