Is Full Sail University OK?

I know someone who went to Full Sail for game design, and while it is REALLY REALLY REALLY expensive (did I mention REALLY expensive???) he got his bachelors from Full Sail and his masters from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). SCAD took the degree from Full Sail just fine. But you have to remember that certain areas, like fashion design, game design, etc..., don't look at RA vs NA as much as the name and respectability of the school within the filed, the degree earned, and the portfolio. So if you're a trustfund baby, win the lotto, or have some other extravagant way to pay for a degree from one of these places, I say go for it. As long as you're going into a field that won't care about NA or RA.

 

Full Sail University got a lot of attention last year, because it was repeatedly recommended by Mitt Romney.

Your right, its just really bad name, Full Sail University with a logo of airplane? What?

 

I just found this for game design, in case anyone is interested. SNHU is a good school, and the price is a lot better than many out there.
