    Hello,

I have seen some recent conflicting information as to whether or not Excelsior grants credits for GRE subject exams. I know they stopped around 2011 (?), but have read elsewhere on this site that they now do again.

Just looking for clarification as this will determine the path for my second Bachelors.

    Hi Edward,

Not that I'd heard, but that sounds like something @cookderosa would know better than anyone, hopefully she'll chime in.

Either way, could you do us a favor and report back if you find out the answer from somewhere else? :)

AFAIK they stopped giving credit for the GRE subject exams back in 2010-2011. I've seen nothing to suggest this has changed.

Charter Oak State College and Empire State College are the only schools I know of that still award credits for the GRE subject tests. Excelsior still has the policy of not awarding credit for them.

I recently talked about GRE subject tests because most of the newer members on the other forum were unaware that this was an option, and many older members had forgotten. Surprisingly, no one remembered at all that ESC awards credits for these exams.

I also reminded people about the Ohio University exams and print-based courses a few months ago because it's another forgotten option.
