Hello everybody! I've lurked on here off and on over the years and finally figured I'd join the conversation. I've worked in healthcare management for a decade and have recently moved into healthcare information technology. I'm also a former US Army officer. Goals: - Working on finishing my Master of Healthcare Administration from UNLV - Planning to start adjuncting occasionally once I finish that MHA - Strongly considering pursuing a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership in early-mid 2019 and open to program suggestions
Welcome to DegreeInfo! Please let us know how your program proceeds at UNLV, that's a school not mentioned much here.
Sure. UNLV isn't well known for online degree options. However, they have actually just recently stood up a fully online Executive Master of Healthcare Administration. It does require two separate week-long onsites (over the course of 18 months). But is anybody complaining about having to visit Las Vegas?
Cool name and welcome aboard. I wanted to attend UNLV for a social work program but couldn't get in, seemed like a good school. Also, the teaching jobs are out there if you look in the right places. I snatched up a job online at a small NA school teaching theology undergrad courses with my masters. So, look every where!
