    Hi all,

I am a female and about to be 30. I have a bachelor in English and Psychology from oversea. I recently got my AS in general studies and health science certificate from community college.
I like business and IT. I started liking IT from my last semester at community college.
I am not very strong in math. I took basic math and introduction to statistics courses.

    My questions are these:
    1. Is it to late for me to pursuing Information Systems, MS at this age? Would I be able to get a career?
    2. I do not have strong mathematics skills, would I still be able to success in this field?
    3. I do not have a lot of knowledge about IT but I learned HTML, WordPress, and trying to learn more from YouTube. Could anyone suggest where should I start to prepare for the program? Or what program should I learn?

    Thank you :)

    1. No, it's not too late.
    2. You can get by with just average math skills.
    3. There are lots of ways to start. Reading some threads on this forum might help give you some ideas.

It always amazes me when people still in their 20s wonder whether they may be too old for something. You can literally still do anything in life. People change careers into information systems when they're decades older than you are now.

As for the math, you'd need higher math for computer science, but for information systems you should be okay, especially if you're mathy enough to get through statistics.
