I posted this before, but before you reply, I do have Bear's book. While it's helpful, it gives no hint as to tuition costs and to take the time to check all the schools is really time consuming.

Anybody have any school recommendations for inexpensive IT/Webmaster schools? Please, school names, not the usual "refer to the book".

    Thanks

First, the reason costs are excluded from these books is that they're outdated even before publication. Things change rapidly in this field.

Second, the reason some people refer you to such references is that you're asking other people to do your legwork for you. You ask an extremely broad question and expect precise answers. Those you should seek yourself because....

Third, by finding the answers yourself, your journey may take you to schools and programs no one else would have thought to recommend. Also, you'll be a lot more grounded in your decision, making success all the more likely.

Fourth, there are so many different degree designs, models, processes, etc., how can anyone make a precise recommendation? For example, someone with a great deal of college credit and experience in the field might benefit from a "template" program like Excelsior's, where someone with little credit or experience may need more of a course-based teaching program.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

    Ted:

Rich has given solid sound advice! Bears' Guide, and other sources, facilitate one's focus. The legwork is time consuming, however, you will be the one who benefits from the time invested.
