"I am Francophone"

I imagine it went the same way as the apostrophe in Tim Horton's - our national shrine - a coast-to-coast chain of coffee-donut emporia. Now it's Tim Hortons - in all Provinces, as the Québec Language Police ordered the removal, as in the case of Bill's. Yes, they're real, and I'm sure they would "kick your harse" if you don't comply. They once proposed having all the Chinese-language signs removed from Montréal's Chinatown - but that exceeded their authority, apparently. Never happened. I think the same influence was exerted on a supermarket chain, too -- Fortino's has been Fortinos for years.

Québec is a wonderful place - in any language - except for those guys. I could swear I saw them goose-stepping down Rue Bleury once...

Likely. He had his own inimitable (Telly's) way with words, e.g.

And is Francophony someone who merely pretends they are able to speak French?
