Hey Harvard, You were the one that said you would have beaten my ass in my own front yard.

How quick we are to label Mr. Harvard. No, I am not some stereotypical West Coast Liberal. I was born in an area of the US where you did not walk around and night because you would most likely get shot. At the age of ten, I saw someone bled out after being shanked American Me style. These are just but a few things I have seen and lived through. At the age of ten, I started studying various types of boxing and hand-to-hand combative arts. At the age of 15, I would fight "underground" matches (before the advent of UFC). There were no rules, no gloves, no nothing. I gave the money to my mother to help out. I stopped after about 1 year when I saw a guy get his back broken, no longer able to walk.

Fast forward. At the age of 16, my father worked three jobs and moved us into a nice area or So Cal, Orange County. Many refer to the O.C. as the Orange Curtain, by no means liberal. Thanks to my parents, and my working my way through school, I have done well in life.

My message to you? Don't assume, you know what happens when you assume. You think I am a tree-hugging liberal who runs from a fight, or who is afraid to start a war when there is good cause? Why? Because I am a Dem? Do you think I am afraid to fight in an altercation? Do you think I am afraid of guns?

Now I see why there are so many Harvard grads working as Baristas.

P.S. Let me tell you why I ran off my friend. He insulted my disabled cousin (my blood) with his right wing "You are lazy, you just don't want to work crap". WTF! Many times my cousin’s condition is so bad, he has to be institutionalized. How did my jerk right wing friend know what it is like to have schizophrenia? Does he know anything about it? Does he thinking maybe just praying and pulling up your bootstraps will solve everything?

No he /she are not. You were clearly poking fun at OBAMA and [his] ineptness; last time I checked, you have that right. The critic’s endeavor to create the illusion that your Obama remark was also meant to be inclusive of and/or offensive toward a special needs child (the Palin’s Down syndrome child Trig) was /is absurd (a diversion). What are you apologizing to?

I didn't say I was going to beat your ass in your front yard, what I said was had you made some ignorant statement about breaking every bone in my body, had I been in your friend's place, I'd have beat your ass simply out of principal.

The rest of your diatribe didn't really interest me so I just skimmed it. Seems you're trying to convince me of your street cred. My assumption is still that you are a typical west coast blowhard. I'm probably right, after all, I do go to Harvard.

I didn't apologize for my comment, I apologized if someone was too stupid to realize I wasn't making fun of the kid, or handicapped kids in general. I do owe Trig an apology though, I kept calling him Tripp. Sorry kid.

Its simple if the candidate running for the Republicans has a clear plan to replace the health care law with something better, that covers the poor and working poor etc. then I might vote for them. All I see is they want to overturn it for business and usual save Romney and even his plan is mostly here states get this money and cover your poor we will let you have total control. Rigggghhhhhtttttt.

At least by expanding Medicaid its a joint program the Federal government has a strong position to be sure the poor get standards applied based on ones income a simple standard either you make enough to get over the window or you don't.

What is my incentive to vote for any Republicans?

As I see it no Republican short of someone very moderate with a good head for management would have a chance to get the poor and working class vote that really wants a health care bill that works and will help those that can't get coverage without the government. I don't see any running.
