Blessed Be! My name is Rev. Kishar. (online name not legal name) I was ordained by PULC on April 20,2001 and I find myself in a bit of a pickle. My certificate was burned in a house fire along with all my important documents and I am trying to find out how to get it replaced without having to be re-ordained. Or at the very least have the date match the old certificate. Any suggestions?

Assuming you are not a troll why not Email PULC and ask them?

Ian's got the best idea but we know that some schools won't replace diplomas. You can a) learn to live without it knowing that anyone who really needs to know can check with your school to see that you're legit or you can b) get a copy of someone elses document and have a good printer make a copy (obviously substituting in your information). You won't be able to use it for anything official but if all you want is a nice document in a frame on the wall then it might be good enough.

Alternatively, if the "PULC" you received your piece of paper from is the first PULC listed upon a Google search (I won't bother linking to them here) then it looks like anyone can just request one for free, so, just ask them to send you another and ask that it have the same issue date as the first one?

I was thinking this myself... And for the low low low price of $20, you can get an additional Sainthood Certificate. And for the first 20 callers, you can get a PhD in Religion for $195 or a Doctor of Biblical Studies for $175. (No test needed)
