This got me interested, so I googled Mr. Hassad. And found this telling web-page: CBS Broadcasting Inc. v. Rossi Hassad. "Bad faith" indeed. Google also returns links to a recent lawsuit against UCLA for "wrongful discharge" and "retaliation."

After reading this thread, I had to take a look at alt.education.distance. WOW! That place is out of control. It seems like one very anti-John Bear person is posting one nasty message after another. Part of me wonders what this guy's problem is. The other part of me is happier being oblivious to the whole sorted mess.

WoW:mad: I checked out that site. That person is way out there. I've only been a member for a very short time and have only gotten good help from you guys and this site. As for Bear promoting degree mills.... I've found the exact opposite here. Everyone is telling me to find a real RA school and to be careful of which schools I look in to.

And so has everyone else--at least those who can think critically!
Bear hasn't promoted degree mills any more that Saddam is telling the truth about having weapons of mass destruction.

    An old saying:
"People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"

I would like to know what Mr. Sigler has to hide (aside from the fact that he has an unaccredited PhD)?

    Is there a Mr Sigler?
Googling the other fellow coughs up more than one lawsuit.
