It worked! It's something to do with a anti-spam program. A mod could tell you more about it and when it stops holding your posts.
New users are automatically put under scrutiny by a built in system to detect spam. Your posts are not disappearing, they are being redirected into a large list that only the moderators can see. From that list, we can read then reject or approve of a message based upon its content. Spam is removed, whereas legitimate users' messages are kept. They will show up where you posted them once they have moderator approval. Don't worry, this only happens for new users. If you stick around for a bit, you will no longer be moderated, and you will quickly see how great a forum community can be when it is free of spam WELCOME TO DEGREE INFO!!!
