Hey All, I haven't posted here in almost 3 years. I hope everyone is well. Looking for some help sourcing degrees in Curriculum Design and/or Post Secondary Education. All I've got is what my company will pay for so looking to keep it around $8k/a year. Could go higher for the right program. Prestige of the institution is somewhat important. I'm thinking given my budget large state school flagships? Everything private is going to be more than I am looking to spend and I've got enough name cache with my existing alma maters. I look forward to everyone's input and re-engaging with some old friends!
Hi. Welcome back. Two things: 1) you haven't said what degree level you want (Masters v Bachelors) 2) If you need to keep it under 8K per year you're going to need additional time to complete the degree. In any case, here's a place to start Degrees and Certificates | www.umassonline.net
Ideally, grad certificate that can be rolled into a Masters program if I wanted to continue. Thanks for the link!
This is not an answer to your question, but Johns Hopkins now offers a distance EdD that I believe has a specialty close to your interests.
Eventually, someone is going to label me a shill for Illinois, but I'm a proud graduate (and current student) so I feel no shame. Illinois offers an online Graduate Certificate in Learning Design & Leadership and you can roll those courses into a master's program (that's what I did except that I did the Human Resource Development option). It'll also fit into your budget. Certificate in Learning Design and Leadership | College of Education | U of I This program has Bill Cope at the helm which, if you don't know, is a pretty big deal.
We have always placed a premium on people's personal experiences with schools and appreciate it when people post relevant info from that knowledge base. It can sometimes cross the line into shilling if the member only posts about that one school. I don't think we're worried about that in this case.
