I just found this site today and found many of the topics very interesting and helpful for me. I am currently in the last week of my capstone class at Ashford University. After that, I need one CLEP test and one gen. ed. class to finish up my bachelors degree in Organizational Management. From there, its off to somewhere for an MBA. I am leaning toward staying at Ashford and specializing in Organizational Leadership but still looking at other options right now. It is nice to meet everyone and I look forward to discussing whatever comes about.

Ashford has been a great experience for me, personally. I made the decision to finally go back to finish college in the Spring of 2008. Because of an erratic work schedule, I knew that online was the only option that would work for me. After narrowing it down to three schools, I chose Ashford based on the five-week per class accelerated schedule and the great assistance that I received from my admissions counselor. She was probably the main reason that I finally committed to start back in May, 2008. I transferred 62 credits from Illinois State University from a million years ago, and have taken twelve online classes along with five CLEP tests to get me to this point. The Blackboard system that they use is great and the interaction with the teachers and other students can be just as good as long as you get involved. Sometimes it can be a lot of reading but the reward of a five-week class structure more than makes up for it. I have no complaints and will probably start their MBA program shortly after I finish up my bachelor's degree in August. I am sure that I will have some MBA related questions as time goes along so hopefully I can find the answers here.
