Former military here with a good job, I received two CSU masters, job is giving folks an hour a day to study for any business degree. Most of my coworkers are going to their first Masters, just wondering what everything thinks about the CSU DBA? I would have to pay out of pocket, which I can afford but it is a large expense and I'm unsure career wise if I would gain any benefits...Thoughts?

By CSU (NA), I assume you mean Columbia Southern University?

Whether it's worth it is completely dependent on your situation and future goals. If you want a DBA for personal achievement or to simply gain advanced knowledge, it might be a good option. If you're looking for a college teaching credential, you'll be severely hampered by the lack of regional accreditation.

I would suggest you look into Liberty University, they have a DBA program with several concentrations, and offer a very generous tuition discount for military, veterans, and first responders (police, fire, EMS) that I would bet is cheaper than Columbia Southern. Plus, Liberty is RA and does accept NA degrees for admission to their graduate programs, having been NA themselves at one point (TRACS).
