I noticed this on elearningpundit. Louisiana Tech is offering the MA in History through it's global campus. I don't have time to verify the tuition but I believe it's reasonable.

Also there's a MA in English on offer.

Their M.A. in English is a good program. The tuition is a bit steep, though, and it would require a 1 hr oral defense of the thesis.
The out of state fee is $985 in addition to the $1224 for regular tuition so for 6 credits it’s $2,209. Works out to about $368/cr x 33 cr =$12,144 plus however much to travel for thesis defense.

Great find! I am always happy to hear of more humanities programs offered through DL. Subjects like history and English have always struck me as such a natural fit for DL.

The "Electronic Rate" comes out to roughly $700 per 3 hour graduate course for LTU classes taught over the web.

That's not a bad amount of transfer you can get either... Pretty generous if you can talk the Dept Head into approval. (This is for the History, I didn't check the English degree)
