I e-mailed Google about concern over their AdWords -- got this response: So, if you search for "distance learning" on Google, the top Adword is ------------------ Kristin Evenson Hirst DistanceLearn.About.com [email protected]
So what's the problem? They just want you to pay them up front before they tell you what school you're dealing with. Oh, and they only award the Doctor of Medicine to "suitable candidates," so you know there's some quality control going on. Plus, they'll give you your deposit back if you don't like the school. Who could ask for anything more? (Please adjust the above for sarcasm before accepting this endorsement.) Rich Douglas, who wonders what country this is from (referred to "The Switzerland of Central America"). **************** The "Switzerland of Central America" includes snow, skiing and all! Their e-mail response stated that the school in question was the University of Costa Rica! Russell

It seems to be a quick degree programme offering degrees in 3-4 weeks after they receive your money and application (in that order I assume) And service-- they will date the degree as you want it. hmmm Ph.D. 1975 ya- that's the ticket. They also offer second passports for those who need them (very handy for Diploma Mill operators) Well I guess I'll remove google from my list of search engines. Jim
It is especially depressing that Google, started by some senior academics at Stanford, has no concern about accepting paid ads from a degree-selling service that even will consider medical degrees.
Well following their very strict standards not everyone can get a "Doctor of Medicine" it states ------------ Clip from web site http://www.privacy.ch/degrees ---------- NOTE: Doctor of Medicine is available only to suitable applicants, please inquire separately with your credentials. ------------End of Clip --------------- I suspect the suitable applicants are those who can pay the extra ink charge for the degree.
