George Washington

I am not particularly street wise on the subject of US Universities. I have been solicited by George Washington University for an online political management masters degree. Are these people respectable and regionally accredited?

GWU is regionally accredited and well respected. They offer a cohort DSc program in my area that I would have loved to be a part of, but it is way too expensive for my taste.

If you look at the USN&WR ranking of universities, you'll find GWU comes up 54th under National Universities: Top Schools.

Outstanding school with a terrific reputation. Highly regarded here in the Washington DC area. The most expensive university in the country, but some of their nontraditional programs are competitively priced. (But I know of one master's that costs $44,000, plus books. This is more than 3 times the cost of ours in the same academic area!)
