Which unaccredited colleges/universities have been investigated by Congress?

 

Nurses? No. She's been one for about 20 years now. It pays about 35 an hour. It might be different when she changes careers next year, going from nurse to family practice nurse practitioner.

Diploma-mill abuse hearings open Pandora's box

• "I think the Education Department is reluctant to assess the quality" of nonaccredited schools, committee chairman Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) said after the hearings. "Right now, it relies on the independent accreditation process. We are going to look at that. It seems to me that the [Education] Department is the logical agency to take the lead."

 

Fake degrees deserve third degree

• And whether they want to be public or private employees, folks who buy degrees and transcripts without taking a course have made a moral choice. They have chosen to lie and cheat.
  
  That's why every applicant or employee with a diploma from a diploma mill deserves another piece of paper:
  
  A pink slip.
