Eisenhower was a military officer turned president who had just won World War II; he was not in the mood for any insubordination. So he had no hesitation in taking over Arkansas' National Guard, and sending in the 101st Airborne Division to prevent the insubordination from spreading.

Biden came into office after watching four long years of crazy from his predecessor and that individual's followers. So by the time he took office we were long past subordination; Biden has to deal with "la folie de millions" from the Republican Party, which (in a gun enthused culture) has to be handled carefully to prevent its spread.

So he probably would not send in the military or National Guard, at least not unless and until there were some sort of mutinous military or paramilitary action that posed significant danger to the nation.
