Anyone know schools that offer free or reduced tuition for people over the age of 55, and in the humanities fields?

MANY options for non-credit, too many to list, but zillions of community colleges have reduced fees for adult ed/continuing ed. For credit, I don't have any help, but the continuing ed avenue can produce some credentials- especially certificates. Worth a shot.

PS if 55 really the new senior citizen age? I thought it was 65? I'm wayyyy closer to 55 than 65, so it's an important question. :)

My former school, LCO Community College, has free tuition for Elders 60 years of age or older:

    Student Service Regs.

In California it's either 62 or 65 - then you get significantly reduced tuition/fees at the state colleges if you are a resident.

Perhaps you don't understand that people are coming as close as they can with their answers and that maybe what you're looking for, a free grad degree, simply doesn't exist.

Maybe you should read the title of my thread again.

The program I posted the link to offers reduced tuition. So does Lindenwood University, my current school.

OK then. I'm sorry that no one has an acceptable answer to your question.

On the contrary, I thought all replies were helpful, and I appreciate all replies.
