    I wonder if an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies would get you hired as a college teacher.

    You would probably do better with UWE's non-certified Masters in Teaching

    Going back to the earlier issue of transcript notations from FHSU(history listed as social science), I dunno how that would affect a teacher's credential-seeking in terms of a school district's bureaucratic reaction, but as far as claiming a concentration or "major" it shouldn't be a big deal. My BA transcript does not note my major; all I've ever done is list it with the listing of the degree itself on cv's or forms. Nobody has ever questioned the truth of my "major" claims. If they did, I'd think that a letter from the department chairperson would suffice for verification.
