Today I submited my final paper in my capstone class at TUI. I am so glad that I found this forum three years ago. The infomation posted has help me in so many situations, the back and forth about different experience at different schools made a big difference. When I started researching my MBA options on 2002 I was afraid of the unknown and had considered Rushmore. I had no idea what RA, ACICS or DETC meant or that it was important. Thanks to everyone for all your help. Now I can sit back and relax..... for a little bit
Congratulations, and a couple of questions My congratulations on your achievement! Would you recommend the TUI MBA to a prospective student? Why did you choose the TUI program from among the many online and DL MBA options? Enjoy that graduation afterglow. Regards, Tony
Now I hope your emphasis there was on the "just a little bit" part. So what are your plans now? a. Get a first professional position in business? b. Get a raise and/or a promotion with your current employer? c. Start your own business? d. Take an adjunct position teaching business? e. Go on for your DBA/PhD in Business? f. Other (Please specify)?
Personally think TUI is a great school. The course work was just the right amount and they are particularly understanding if you need additional time on an assignment. I took two classes a semester, which is hard when working full time and having children. Early on in my search for a grad school I looked at Amberton, Regis, Capella and UOP. I choice TUI because here in NY it is a recognized name. But regardless of the name, I know I made the right decision.
I am currently working as the Director of Compliance at a school. I have no desire or want to begin to look for another job. My background is in Internal Audit. After taking a break for a couple of months, I will begin to study for thr Certified Internal Auditor Exam.
Good work Chris. I'm hopefully about to start an MBA, so in three years time I will be posting something similar!
