After reading one of the posts on this forum I went to the FHSU (Ft. Hayes) web site. As I reviewed it I noticed they have relationships with several Chinese universities. It impressed me that a university out in the middle of nowhere (and trust me, Ft. Hayes, KS is out in the middle of nowhere) was reaching out to the world. Then I followed the links to some of the universities. A couple of them are looking for US instructors. The 1-year positions come with a salary, an apt. and air fare. Might be a unique opportunity for someone with the credentials and the time.....
There is no "e" in Fort Hay"e"s! It is Fort Hays State University, which is in Hays, Kansas! The university is not located in the town of "Fort" Hay"e"s, Kansas!
Hahhahaha, Sorry I had to do that! If you read my earlier posts about my problems with a slacker of a professor within the graduate school at Fort Hays you would understand. Now the political agenda of Fort Hays is becoming a little bit clearer! As you probably know I was harping on about a first time professor (and I do mean first time...first class) at Fort Hays using graduate assistants to grade our work. Well I later found out the assistant was in China grading our papers from afar; heck I figured the grad assistant was a Fort Hays student doing a semester of studies in China, or something along those lines...boy oh boy was I sadly mistaken. Talk about offshoring!!! Perhaps Ft. Hays learned that stunt from Walmart. Gavin
