Fast Food Workers Now Earn More Than PhDs

    The economist in me cringed at this phrasing, but I would say that until there are fewer people than are needed saying yes to a particular offer, there's no reason to expect that offer to increase.

    I’ve been on Reddit’s Antiwork thread and find it upsetting how poorly employees are treated for crap pay. Still, I agree with you.

    The latter. We had a reason to move from Tucson to Phoenix. That no longer exists, and this city is far from compelling to us. We both feel like we have one more move in us and have narrowed it down to two archetypes.

    Well, at roughly $44/hour I suppose that's less atrocious.
