I have been considering the MLS degree that Excelsior is offering... Anyone have any comments about their program? I would love to hear from someone enrolled in it.
While I've not enrolled in the program, I am a graduate of the school's original incarnation, The University of the State of New York, Regents External Degree Program. And I have looked at this program very carefully. It is a wonderful opportunity for people in at least two situations. First, if you've completed some graduate-level credit in the arts or sciences, you can bring them into the master's program and build a degree plan around them. Second, you can get pretty creative in designing a degree program with an eclectic array of coursework. It is truly a "liberal arts" master's. Rich Douglas
