Thanks for the heads-up on Analyzing Lit CLEP... I was a little leary of the exam and it's nice to hear a few people's opinions.

Because many folks like to schedule their study efforts around completing the least difficult tasks first. This is why I took CLEP Management and CLEP Marketing first.

Wow, get over yourself. Why does it matter to you whether people are worried or not or if they are intellecutally lazy. It is not going to affect you either way. So, if you are so offended of the fact that people appear "to be intellectually lazy" then maybe you shouldn't be on here offering discouraging words. You seem like a very pessimistic and self absorbed person.

    My response:
Look, sdxtina, Ted does not need me to defend him, but I will. You're new, and that's fine...you'll certainly be welcomed here. Do not come on this board, however, telling a distinguished senior member that perhaps he shouldn't post here! I'll be brief because I don't think this warrants any further intrusion into my time: Ted has proven himself on this board for some years, and you haven't. Case closed.

My respinse to sdxtina: Welcome to the boards, newbie! I understand that, as a new member here, you're excited about actually getting to post. However, when taking someone to task over their posts, it is usually considered kosher to do so in a timely frashion rather than to ask someone what the hell they were thinking one year ago. How very sweet of you to paychoanalyze me as "pessimistic" and "self-absorbed" based upon one single post while you ignore the vast majority of my other 6,000 posts! Those who have been around awhile are aware that the vast majority of my 6,000 or so posts that I have made in the three years and ten months since February 2005 have been about helping people locate those schools which offer the distance learning degree titles that other members here are seeking. Do you happen to know if there are any official DSM-IV definitions for the psychiatric diseases of "pessimism" and "self-absorption"? Have you ever considered that the apparent grouchiness of my one-year-old post might have been caused at least in part by my diabetes, high blood pressure, insomnia, or manic-depression acting up? Or that maybe those people here who are my true friends may have let my comment slide for those reasons?

    My response to basrsu: Thanks!

This is certainly one of the more interesting and entertaining threads.
I found Principles of supervision, Criminal Justice, and Intro to Computers to be easy.
I recently heard from a few that the Here's to your Heath test is not easy at all anymore.

Include me in the group that enjoys easy tests more than hard ones.

Information Systems And Computer Applications Exam

    Hello,
I am thinking of taking this CLEP, for those of you who have taken it, would you answer a fews questions about it?
    * how did you do?
    * on a scale of 1 to 10; what would you rate it?
    * what is you job if working? Is it in IT, etc?
    * advice on what to study for it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Pass/Fail Consideration

Many people want to know what the easiest test is becuase the test becomes part of your permanent academic record. It potentially could have a negative impact with certain ways that things are computated.

I use the military pass rate to help determine where to start. The stats help me determine which practice test to take first and sometimes helps me choose between two similar tests. If I have to choose between Personal Finance (80%) and Principles of Finance (0%, yes Zero) -- I'll choose the 80% pass-rate exam to study for. That's kind of crafty, especially if you need an elective.

I'm not sure how people could get offended at these stats. They just show specific strengths of the military population. Spanish has a pass rate of 90%, despite hundreds of test-takers. Meanwhile, I am limited in my Spanish ability. You just have to take it all with a grain of salt.

And yeah people are sometimes interested in which is the easiest because their school calculates a grade for the exams (which seems rather rare these days). But that doesn't seem too different than asking which B&M class is the easiest.

By far the easiest for me was DANTES Principles of Supervision. My hardest (not being as well read as some) and the one that required the most preparation was the CLEP Humanities. With that said, I agree with Fortunato, the question is very subjective and it depends largely on one's background and experience.
