Does anyone but me think that Christmas is a pain?

    The American version will have to be most excellent to beat to original but I understand that they've already begun parts 2 and 3. Rooney Mara is a very beautiful woman. Look her up on Google Images.

    Not quite a Scrooge here. I love the spirit of kindness and giving, having days off from work and spending time with loved ones. I just don't think that any of that is inalienable from Christmas celebration.

    You know, you are right. I'm saying "bah humbug" but I am also very much into kindness and giving, so maybe Scrooge or Bah Humbug is not an accurate name for how I feel. My daughter called me a "bah humbug" and it sort of stuck. I am just disturbed by the pressure, greed and decadence I see and would like to return to a simple and modest celebration rather than what Americans do.
