TRACS accredited Omega Graduate School has a new (new-ish?) "Doctor of Social Leadership" program. According to the program page, you can pay $250 per month and complete the program in 36 months. https://ogs.edu/degrees/doctor-of-social-leadership-dsl/ It's important to keep in mind, even though it's implied with TRACS accreditation, that Omega is very Christian and it's aimed for Christian students (this won't stand out when you look at the courses in the curriculum, but scroll down and look at the Program Outcomes).
The name Oxford Graduate School sounded better (though confusing). I wonder if THE Oxford told them to quit using the name and the school wanted to keep the OGS initials. When I looked at it a few years ago their DPhil seemed like a substantial program. I think they not only moved away from the Oxford name but the DPhil (now designated a PhD) and dropped use of UK style academic regalia.
These alternative degree titles make me cringe. Maybe I'm the only one. DSL is also the post-nominal for APUS's Doctor of Strategic Leadership.
Based on the adverts I think it is a Social Justice leadership degree. Studies of society seems to be part of OGS.
"The Doctor of Social Leadership (“DSL”) is similar to a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)" Similar to a DNP. Really?
I wish colleges would stick with known degree titles for niche programs. There are plenty to choose from: Doctor of Art, Doctor of Science, EdD, etc.
I think you meant APUS's Doctor of Strategic Intelligence (DSI). However, schools such as Liberty, Regent, and Southeastern (FL), not Nova, offer the Doctor of Strategic Leadership (DSL).
