Here's a trivia question for you DL buffs: What college now primarily known as a residential school started out as a purely DL school? The school I have in mind started out as a DL school, then became a residential school (with dorms, etc), and during last decade has expanded back into the DL field (still retaining residential component). There are some schools that moved in the other direction (started out traditional, then became totally DL). Maybe I'll save them for my next visit... Buphagus
Well, nobody took a nibble at my trivia question. So I'll just give the answer. The institution I had in mind started in 1927 as Capitol Radio Engineering Institute, a correspondence school. It ultimately received regional accreditation in 1976. In the 80's, the college built residence halls. And changed its name (in 1987) to Capitol College, which we know today.
