CSUDH Gets Unusual PR

    I sat down with dinner last night and started flipping through channels; when I zoomed by last year's cheerleading dramedy Bring It On, I couldn't help but notice the site for the big tournament: "California State Dominguez Hills." Hey, Nicole, Bill: we're famous!

    Ahhhhhh, thanks, I think.

    In his welcome back to campus speech, the president of CSUDH announced that our campus has become the number one choice in Southern California for shooting television commercials. Take that you 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier commercial-background wannabe schools!

    When we sold our school marketing business to Pearson 3 years ago, the head of Pearson came to our offices to welcome us into the fold. In her little speech, he reminded us that Pearson is best known for owning The Economist, Prentice Hall, Penguin and . . . Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Baywatch.

    Hey, maybe that's how we should have marketed the Heriot-Watt MBA program. Move over Sally Sommers. Here's Pamela Anderson for Heriot-Watt.

    Well, *my* question is when are you going to get around to posting your evidence that the US has the majority of the world's worst schools? Several people are very interested in seeing this.
