If they're in the hole for more than they can pay.

I have to admit that, since I finished my formal higher education almost 30 years ago, I have developed a sense of schadenfreude when it comes to schools getting into trouble. (For an excellent and funny treatment of the subject of schadenfreude, go to YouTube and search "Avenue Q Schadenfreude.")

As y'all know, it's easy to get me to laugh at a school, whether it's legitimate or a degree mill, accredited or not, even traditional or not. In the case of BC-U, it's a chance to laugh at an HBCU. This is not racist, I assure you, but a chance to treat schools of color with the same warped humor that I give to majoritarian schools. In that sense, it's my stand for civil rights - the ability to laugh at HBCU's as much as I laugh at any other school. That's equality.

I have actually followed the story of BC-U for a few years now (since they started to get into trouble with their accreditors). And all I can say is . . . You guessed it . . .

    BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!
