I was excited about the University of Michigan program until I found out that they're charging in-state students $960 per credit hour and out-of-state students $1060 per credit hour. That is ridiculous for MOOC classes and defeats the purpose of offering a MOOC degree.

With their rep, I'd think one could earn the difference back within 3 years. I think they're gonna get a lot of applications!

Imperial College London is about $25K USD for US residents, cheaper for EU.

There are online, CEPH-accredited MPH programs at other good schools for less. University of Michigan is just using Coursera as a cheap learning management system, and they're not passing down the cost savings to students. I don't even know if this online program falls under University of Michigan's CEPH accreditation.
