  1. It is a BSc in Psychology to MSc in Mental Health Counseling degree. There are easy grants to get and it would pay for what I need.

Be certain that the specifics of the Masters degree are such that you will be qualified for licensure where you live. Otherwise I'd only say that you can probably find a cheaper alternative if you wanted to do a bit of searching. Some people will give you some flack about the fact that it's for-profit. Personally I don't think that's such a huge negative IF you can afford it and you've done your homework.

  3. From what I read about it, it leads to a license to practice counseling. I like the Clinical Mental Health concentration. I have mental illness myself and it would help me relate to clients.

Licensure is controlled by the state government where you live. The standards are not uniform across all 50 states. It's better to check with the state offices where you live rather than rely on the school for such information. Since they market to the entire nation it's possible that they have crafted the curriculum to the strictest standards of all the states but it's so easy to check and a mistake could be quite costly.
