To the best of my knowledge they have no recognition. I find it odd that the Domain name was purchased out of Australia, and that it is hosted by yahoo. Also the phone number is based out of the Florida Keys. All red flags to me.
I can No, it's not. I believe that H. Lavity Stoutt Community College is BVI's only legitimate institution of higher education. -=Steve=-
And it is listed in the "other" (as in: "unaccredited") schools section of Bear's Guide, pages 197-198.
The ICANN-approved domain registrar through which Yahoo registers domain names for its hosting clients is physically located in Australia. So don't read anything sinister into that particular factor. Where (i.e., through which ICANN-approved registrar) a given entity happens to register its domains is of no consequence in the master scheme of things. Other factors you've mentioned which raise red flags for you may or may not be relevant, but which registrar one uses is most definitely not. Just FYI.
Real universities don't use Front Page Gregg's right, as usual. However, the cheesy web site that looks like it was made in 1996, now that's a red flag! -=Steve=-
